Flood Information Clearinghouse

Welcome to the Flood Information Clearinghouse (FLICC), the first “one-stop-shop” for information on flood mitigation funding opportunities for Texas’ communities. This site is a work in progress and will continue to be developed and improved.

Is there something you would like to see added? Please share your ideas with flicc@twdb.texas.gov.

This site is primarily for local governments and other entities of the state, such as cities, counties, councils of governments, river authorities, and local drainage or utility districts. If you are interested in assistance for yourself or your family, please visit DisasterAssistance.gov. If you are seeking funding for repair, restoration, reconstruction, or replacement of a facility damaged or destroyed by a federally declared disaster, you must submit a Request for Public Assistance to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) through the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) within 30 days of the respective area being designated in the declaration.

The best way to get feedback on what program could be the best fit for your community's needs is to submit a Request for Information Form for review by the Flood Information Clearinghouse Committee. Please read our Frequently Asked Questions prior to submitting the form.
